Friedensreich Hundertwasser

FRIEDENSREICH HUNDERTWASSER – Born in Vienna in 1928 as Friedrich Stowasser. He began his education at an early Montessori School, and then studied at the Academy Of Fine Arts, Vienna, under Professor Robin Christian Anderson. In 1959 he receives the Sanbra Prize at the Fifth Sao Paulo Biennial, then founds the “Pintorarium” with Ernst Fuchs and Arnulf Rainer. November 18, 1980, was declared “Hundertwasser Day” in Washington DC. Hundertwasser passed away in 2003.
